Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the design and delivery of luxury villa interiors from concept through completion. This role will develop design concepts, space plans, mood boards, and material palettes, ensuring alignment with client vision, brand standards, and project budgets. The Senior Interior Designer will prepare interior drawings and documentation, coordinate with architects, consultants, and suppliers, and oversee FF&E selections, specifications, and schedules. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and redlining construction drawings, guiding 3D visualization teams, attending virtual client meetings, and managing design revisions and approvals. The role also involves mentoring junior designers, ensuring design quality, and supporting high-end project execution across multiple simultaneous projects.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with demonstrated experience in high-end residential or villa projects.
- Solid understanding of Architecture and coordination with multidisciplinary teams on luxury developments.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings, including detailed interior layouts, joinery, and finishes.
- Advanced FF&E knowledge, including sourcing, specification, scheduling, and coordination of premium brands and custom pieces.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar, SketchUp/3D tools, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing luxury interior design work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with UAE or Gulf-region projects, building standards, and suppliers is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
