Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design projects, from initial concept development to final execution, in a full-time remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating design concepts, preparing mood boards, developing layouts, and coordinating detailed space planning. The role involves producing and reviewing construction drawings, selecting FF&E, and collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure design intent is realized. The Senior Interior Designer will oversee project timelines, provide guidance to junior designers, and maintain alignment with brand standards and client expectations. Regular virtual meetings, design reviews, and documentation will be required to ensure smooth remote collaboration and project delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development and design detailing.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize layouts for residential and commercial projects.
- Understanding of Architecture principles to integrate interior design with structural elements.
- Ability to create and interpret Construction Drawings in coordination with project teams.
- Expertise in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination for high-quality finishes and furnishings.
- Advanced proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Excellent communication, client presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management capabilities, including scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with several years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
