Role Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer for a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. In this role, you will lead design projects from concept to completion, including space planning, creating detailed construction drawings, and selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring designs meet client objectives while adhering to timelines and budgets. This position plays a pivotal role in innovating unique design solutions and mentoring junior team members.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to conceptualize and execute creative and functional designs.
- Proficiency in Architecture and Construction Drawings, with attention to detail and understanding of materials and construction methods.
- Experience in FF&E selection, including sourcing, specification, and coordination of furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members effectively.
- Proven leadership skills, including experience mentoring and guiding junior team members.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
