Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Interior Designer role is based in Hyderabad and involves leading interior design projects from concept through completion. The Senior Interior Designer will develop design concepts, prepare detailed space plans, and coordinate construction drawings in collaboration with architects, contractors, and vendors. Day-to-day responsibilities include client consultations, presenting design proposals and mood boards, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and ensuring that designs align with client needs, budgets, and timelines. The role also requires supervising junior designers, reviewing design documentation for quality and accuracy, and overseeing on-site execution to maintain design integrity and uphold Elemmentz’s standards. The Senior Interior Designer will contribute to continuous improvement of design processes, materials selection, and innovative solutions that enhance the overall client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong interior design and architecture skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetically engaging spaces.
- Proficiency in space planning and construction drawings, including layout optimization and coordination with project stakeholders.
- Experience with FF&E selection and specification, including materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and decor aligned with project concepts.
- Advanced proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D rendering software) and familiarity with industry standards.
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end interior design projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead client meetings, explain design decisions, and collaborate across teams.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; several years of relevant experience in residential and/or commercial interiors.
- Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and construction practices in Hyderabad or similar markets is an advantage.
