Role Description The Senior Interior Designer role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Changodar, Ahmedabad. The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, including developing design concepts, space plans, and mood boards aligned with client requirements and CASA Virtue’s modular furniture offerings. Daily responsibilities include preparing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating FF&E selections, and working closely with architecture and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and quality. The role involves client presentations, site visits, and collaboration with suppliers and vendors to manage materials, finishes, and furniture orders. The Senior Interior Designer will also mentor junior designers, contribute to design standards, and support continuous improvement of CASA Virtue’s product and design portfolio.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with proven experience leading residential and/or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Space Planning, ensuring optimal layout, functionality, and aesthetics for modular furniture and built environments.
- Ability to develop and interpret Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, elevations, and joinery drawings.
- Experience with FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination aligned with project budgets and timelines.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, including working with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Attention to detail, a portfolio demonstrating design excellence, and familiarity with modular furniture and building materials is highly beneficial.
