Job Summary
Aura Spaces is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and client-focused Interior Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have strong design aesthetics, practical space-planning skills, and experience handling residential and/or commercial interior projects from concept to execution.
The candidate will work closely with clients, vendors, and project teams to create functional, visually appealing, and customized interior spaces aligned with client expectations and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand project requirements, design preferences, budget, and timelines.
- Develop creative interior design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and presentations.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
- Create 3D models and visualizations using SketchUp.
- Coordinate with architects, vendors, contractors, and site teams for smooth project execution.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor elements.
- Conduct site visits and monitor project progress to ensure design quality and timely completion.
- Prepare BOQs, project documentation, and client presentations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining design standards and deadlines.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of space planning, color schemes, materials, and furniture layouts.
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Ability to create innovative and functional design concepts.
- Strong attention to detail and project coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of residential interior execution and site coordination is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant interior design experience.
- Portfolio showcasing completed interior design projects is preferred.
