Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer for a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate with clients to conceptualize, plan, and execute interior design projects. Responsibilities include space planning, creation of construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and coordinating with architects and contractors. The successful candidate will ensure all designs meet high-quality standards, align with client needs, and stay on schedule and budget.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Expertise in Architecture and Construction Drawings
- Experience in specification, sourcing, and coordination of Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E)
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and client collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D max
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Prior experience in residential or commercial interior design is highly desirable
