Company Description ALLOY DESIGN STUDIO is a Mumbai-based interior design practice focused on creating thoughtful, functional, and contemporary spaces for residential and commercial clients. Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design projects, from concept development to final execution, for residential and commercial spaces in Mumbai. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, preparing design concepts, mood boards, and presentations, and overseeing detailed space planning and interior layouts. The role involves developing construction drawings, coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors, and managing FF&E selection, budgeting, and installation. The Senior Interior Designer will mentor junior designers, ensure design quality and consistency, and help maintain project timelines and standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.
Qualifications
- Ability to lead comprehensive interior design solutions, with strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
- Experience collaborating on building layouts and integrations, with working knowledge of Architecture.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed technical documentation, including Construction Drawings and related specifications.
- Demonstrated capability in FF&E selection, procurement, and coordination aligned with project budgets and design intent.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and presentation tools.
- Relevant experience in leading interior design projects, preferably in residential and commercial environments.
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
