Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer located in Chennai. The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for overseeing interior design projects from concept to completion, including space planning, development of design concepts, and creation of detailed construction drawings. The role also involves selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), collaborating with architects and contractors, and ensuring design solutions meet client needs and expectations. Additional responsibilities include managing project budgets, timelines, and fostering client relationships.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Strong abilities in Architecture and developing Construction Drawings
- Experience in selecting and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment)
- Excellent project management, client communication, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Prior experience in managing large-scale residential or commercial design projects is an advantage
