Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design projects, from concept development and space planning through detailed documentation and coordination with architecture and construction teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating design concepts and mood boards, developing detailed interior layouts, selecting materials and finishes, and preparing client presentations. The role involves supervising project execution on site, collaborating with contractors and consultants, and ensuring design quality, timelines, and budgets are met. The Senior Interior Designer will mentor junior team members, maintain design standards, and contribute to design reviews and client meetings. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune Division.
Qualifications
- Strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills, with the ability to develop functional, aesthetically cohesive layouts for luxury residential, commercial, and public spaces.
- Solid grounding in Architecture and understanding of building systems to integrate interior concepts with overall project design and structure.
- Proficiency in Construction Drawings, including detailed interior documentation, technical detailing, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Hands-on experience with FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and scheduling, aligned with project budgets and design concepts.
- Professional experience in high-end or luxury interior design projects, preferably in an architecture and design firm environment.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar, SketchUp, and presentation tools).
- Excellent visual communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and rationale.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams, manage multiple deadlines, and coordinate effectively with contractors and consultants on site.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
