About the Role
At Twenty20 Systems, we are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer (Workato) who can go beyond implementation and take ownership of building scalable, secure, and business-critical integrations.
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, solution-oriented, and excited to work at the intersection of technology, product, and business outcomes. You will work closely with engineering, product, and client teams to design robust integration solutions while also helping shape best practices for our growing integration function.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and manage enterprise-grade integrations using Workato and other modern iPaaS platforms.
- Develop and optimize API-based integrations, workflow automations, and data pipelines across internal and third-party systems.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and client teams to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Take ownership of integration architecture, troubleshooting, monitoring, and production support.
- Ensure integrations are designed for security, reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices, playbooks, and delivery standards across the team.
- Support architecture decisions and help align integration strategies with business priorities.
What Your First 3 Months Will Look Like
- Take ownership of ongoing and new integration pipelines and improve them for scale and reliability.
- Work closely with product and client teams to solve real-world integration challenges.
- Start contributing to architecture decisions, delivery excellence, and engineering best practices.
Where You’ll Be in 6 Months
- Leading key integration initiatives and driving scalable integration frameworks.
- Building best practices around security, governance, and operational excellence.
- Acting as a trusted technical lead across product, engineering, and client teams.
- Playing a strong role in shaping integration strategy alongside leadership.
Requirements
5–7 years of experience in enterprise integrations, middleware, or iPaaS platforms.
Strong hands-on expertise in Workato (experience with Boomi, MuleSoft, WSO2, TIBCO, Informatica, etc. is a plus).
Solid experience with REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth, webhooks, API gateways, and connector-based integrations.
Good knowledge of JSON, XML, SQL, Python/JavaScript, and data transformation logic.
Experience working with enterprise systems like Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, Shopify, Workday, Redshift, etc.
Understanding of cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern automation architectures.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to take ownership and work in a fast-paced product-driven environment.
