Job Title: Senior Integration Engineer

Role purpose
Work with the Regional Integrations Manager to assist in the design and architecture of
Boomi platform integrated solutions for business platforms ensuring all relevant options are
explored for time, cost, and comply to the company’s standards, policies, and practices
whilst meeting the business’ requirements.
The role will coordinate with developers, other platform teams and vendors in the delivery
of the solution for clients and assisting in the shepherding of the solution through the
relevant governance processes.
Key Accountabilities
• Assist with the evaluation of integration architecture for business platforms - integrating
IT systems per organizational needs & align to the enterprise architecture; - Comply
with all governance and due diligence, timelines and cost, applicable to the solution.
• Propose & define design options based on business and technical requirements; the
standards proposed, integration patterns, and the required solution integrated
processing.
• Assist in evaluating project constraints to find alternatives, alleviate risks, and propose
process re-engineering if required.
• Work closely with the Regional Integrations Manager to prepare and/or review relevant
documents like Integration Strategy documents, Integration Design Documents, Test
Strategy, Integration Repository, Integration Solution or Business Work Instructions,
etc.
• Walkthrough the to-be solution through forums such as 'Business Playback', architecture
review board, design review forums and CAB review. Address solution related questions,
concerns from the business. Provide suitable solutions/workarounds, and enhancements
that support APAC market change.
• Deliver integrations that match business requirements.
• Assist in guiding development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide post implementation support during Hypercare and steady-state operations.
• Document and share best practice knowledge for new solutions, keep assessing process
improvements applying Continuous Improvement methodologies.
• Continuously research emerging technologies and propose changes to the existing
integration landscape and architecture.
Professional Knowledge/Skills
• 5+ years’ experience in Application Integration.
• 5+ years’ hands on and practical experience in Boomi AtomSphere Integration, Data
Hub, Flow, API Management, Data Integration, Task Automation, Event Streams,
Managed File Transfer, and Boomi architecture design experience in all areas would be
an advantage.
• Has the ability and proven experience of working on and delivering Boomi integration
projects to clients.
• Experience in Boomi ATOM and Mulecule architecture, design, and best practices.
• Experience with Javascript, Groovy JS, Powershell, SQL Query experience.
