We’re Hiring: Senior Instructional Designer (CTE | US Education)
Location: Remote / Anywhere
Engagement: 13-Month Contract Extendable
Role Overview:
We are looking for experienced Senior Instructional Designers to support an upcoming large-scale Career & Technical Education (CTE) project aligned with the US K–12 education system.
The role requires strong instructional leadership, hands-on design expertise, and experience working with vocational or CTE content.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead instructional design decisions across multiple CTE clusters
Ensure quality and consistency of instructional artefacts.
Review and approve blueprints, storyboards, and learning assets
Mentor and guide instructional designers on pedagogy best practices
Maintain and update live instructional design guidelines
Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders on scope and design updates.
Required Experience:
6–10+ years in Instructional Design
Minimum 2 years in a Senior / Lead ID role
Strong experience in CTE or vocational education content
Hands-on exposure to the US K–12 education system
Preferred Skills:
Middle & high school CTE pedagogy and career exploration
5E Instructional Model
Gradual Release of Responsibility
Familiarity with CTE standards & frameworks (e.g., TEKS)
Experience designing modular, objective-driven learning content
Ability to work with onshore and offshore teams
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or above
Preferred: Instructional Design, Curriculum & Instruction, Education Technology, or Leadership
