About The Team
The smallcase “Outbound Sales” team plays a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. The team works at the intersection of finance, technology, and customer engagement, educating prospective customers about credit products, understanding their borrowing needs and financial goals, and guiding them toward the most suitable credit solutions tailored to their profile.
We operate in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where data, customer insights, and structured sales processes drive performance. The team collaborates closely with marketing, product, and operations to ensure a seamless customer journey from first interaction to successful onboarding.
About The Role
Proactively engage with prospective customers and educate them about smallcase credit products, convert qualified leads into active investors by driving meaningful financial conversations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in outbound sales, enjoys consultative selling, and has a strong interest in financial products.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive Outbound Engagement: Initiate high-volume outbound and follow-up calls to qualified prospects, ensuring consistent touchpoints across the funnel.
- Deliver Consultative Sales Conversations: Understand each customer’s journey on smallcase, their financial goals, and risk appetite to recommend tailored investment solutions.
- Own the Sales Funnel End-to-End: Manage the complete lifecycle—from initial outreach and pitching to objection handling and final conversion.
- Handle Objections with Confidence: Address concerns using accurate product knowledge, data-backed insights, and structured persuasion techniques.
- Maintain CRM Excellence: Keep detailed and accurate records of conversations, follow-ups, and lead status to ensure seamless pipeline management.
- Operate at High Activity Levels: Comfortably manage a large volume of outbound calls daily while maintaining quality conversations and conversion focus.

- Resilience & Emotional Intelligence: Comfortable navigating frequent rejections while maintaining professionalism, composure, and motivation.
- Tech Savviness: Hands-on experience with cloud telephony tools and modern CRM systems, with a data-driven approach to tracking performance.
Experience Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in outbound sales, preferably in a startup environment.
- Proven track record of achieving revenue or conversion targets. Experience in selling financial products, particularly credit products, will be an added advantage.
