Role Overview
We are looking for a high-impact Inside Sales & Business Development leader to drive growth in the US market for our Salesforce consulting services. This role goes beyond individual contribution and includes building, mentoring, and scaling an inside sales team.
You will be responsible for creating pipeline, closing deals, defining outbound strategies, and establishing a strong sales engine aligned with our growth vision.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Drive inside sales and BD efforts targeting US-based clients across industries
- Generate and qualify leads through outbound and inbound channels
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline aligned with revenue targets
- Conduct discovery calls, solution positioning, and proposal discussions
- Collaborate with delivery, pre-sales, and leadership teams for solutioning
- Leverage CRM tools to track pipeline, activities, and forecasting
- Build relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders
- Participate in RFP/RFI responses and proposal submissions
- Stay updated on Salesforce products, services, and market trends
- Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth channels
- Build and maintain a strong, predictable sales pipeline and forecast
Team Building & Leadership
- Hire, mentor, and scale an inside sales team over time
- Define sales playbooks, outreach strategies, and best practices
- Set KPIs, monitor performance, and drive accountability
- Coach team members on consultative selling and Salesforce positioning
- Foster a high-performance, target-driven sales culture
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work closely with pre-sales, delivery, and leadership teams for solutioning
- Contribute to go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Salesforce offerings
- Support RFP/RFI responses and strategic deal pursuits
- Provide market feedback to refine offerings and messaging
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 9–12 years of experience in inside sales / business development in IT services
- Strong experience selling into the US market
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, etc.)
- Proven ability to build pipeline and close deals independently
- Experience in team handling or mentoring inside sales teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in US EST time zone
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce)
- Initially, the role will be an individual contributor, with a transition toward building and supporting a full team

- Exposure to industries like Manufacturing, Financial Services, or Distribution
- Experience in building inside sales processes from scratch
