Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support enterprise infrastructure operations with a strong focus on patch compliance, vulnerability remediation, endpoint security, and systems administration. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, VMware, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and security compliance operations.
This role will also support internal IT operations, auditing activities, and infrastructure security initiatives while collaborating across technical and operational teams to ensure a secure and compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
- Administer and maintain enterprise infrastructure including:
- Windows Servers
- Active Directory
- Azure Entra / Intune
- VMware virtualization environment
- Group Policy Management
- Manage user accounts, permissions, organizational units, and security policies.
- Monitor infrastructure health, system availability, and operational stability.
- Support internal IT infrastructure and endpoint management activities.
Patch Management & Compliance
- Manage end-to-end patch management lifecycle for servers and endpoints.
- Ensure systems meet organizational patch compliance standards.
- Deploy and monitor patches using enterprise patch management solutions.
- Generate patch compliance reports and remediation plans.
- Coordinate maintenance windows and validate successful deployments.
Security & Vulnerability Management
- Monitor, identify, and remediate security vulnerabilities across infrastructure systems.
- Work closely with security and compliance teams on risk mitigation activities.
- Support vulnerability assessments, remediation tracking, and security hardening initiatives.
- Manage endpoint protection and security posture using Microsoft Defender.
Endpoint & Device Management
- Manage and support Microsoft Intune for:
- Device enrollment
- Compliance policies
- Endpoint configurations
- Application deployment
- Support endpoint security standards and device lifecycle management.
Auditing & Compliance Support
- Assist with internal and external audits including:
- Security reviews
- Compliance evidence gathering
- Remediation tracking
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and operational records.
- Support compliance initiatives such as SOC2, HIPAA, ISO, or related frameworks.
Monitoring & Operational Support
- Participate in infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and operational troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure improvements and modernization efforts.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration.

- Active Directory

- Patch Management & Compliance
- Security & Vulnerability Management
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Manage Engine ( Would be great to have)
- Experience with enterprise security and auditing practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
