Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior US IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing the full-cycle recruitment process for the US IT market, sourcing highly skilled technical professionals, and partnering with hiring managers to fulfill critical staffing needs. This role requires expertise in recruiting for a wide range of IT positions, knowledge of US employment types (W2, C2C, and 1099), familiarity with visa classifications, and the ability to negotiate competitive compensation packages while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Recruitment
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for US-based IT positions, from job requisition to candidate onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top technology talent within established timelines.
Strategic Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
- Source qualified candidates using advanced Boolean searches, LinkedIn Talent Solutions, job boards, internal databases, referrals, networking, and headhunting techniques.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for niche and high-demand technologies, including Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, DevOps, Data Engineering, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, ERP, and Infrastructure roles.
- Engage passive candidates and maintain long-term relationships for future hiring needs.
Candidate Screening & Assessment
- Conduct detailed phone and video interviews to evaluate candidates' technical expertise, communication skills, work authorization, and cultural fit.
- Assess candidates based on client requirements, technical competencies, project experience, and career objectives.
- Prepare candidate summaries and submit qualified profiles to hiring managers or clients with detailed evaluations.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Partner closely with hiring managers, business leaders, and account managers to understand workforce planning and hiring expectations.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, collect interview feedback, and facilitate communication between candidates and stakeholders throughout the hiring process.
- Provide regular recruitment updates, hiring metrics, and market insights to stakeholders.
US Employment Compliance & Market Intelligence
- Maintain current knowledge of US employment regulations, labor laws, and hiring practices.
- Understand various employment models including W2, C2C, and 1099 engagements.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of US work authorization and visa classifications such as H-1B, Green Card, OPT, CPT, TN, EAD, and US Citizenship.
- Monitor industry hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging technologies to provide strategic hiring recommendations.
Offer Management & Onboarding
- Prepare and extend employment offers while negotiating salaries, hourly rates, and C2C margins.
- Coordinate pre-employment documentation, background verification, onboarding activities, and joining formalities.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
ATS & Recruitment Operations
- Maintain accurate candidate records in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Ensure recruitment documentation is complete, compliant, and up to date.
- Track recruitment KPIs including time-to-fill, submission-to-interview ratio, offer acceptance rate, and placement success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–8+ years of experience in US IT Recruitment with proven success in full-cycle recruiting.
- Strong understanding of the US staffing industry and technical recruitment processes.
- Experience recruiting for a broad range of IT roles across various technologies and experience levels.
- Hands-on experience with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter/Talent Solutions, Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, and other sourcing tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in Boolean search, X-Ray search, and advanced sourcing techniques.
- Strong knowledge of IT technologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), cloud platforms, and modern technology stacks.
- Experience recruiting for direct clients, MSP, and VMS requirements.
- Familiarity with recruitment metrics, reporting, and market intelligence.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build long-term relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
