Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy & Governance
• Define and implement the IT roadmap aligned with business growth and retail
expansion plans.
• Establish IT policies, SOPs, security frameworks, and governance controls.
• Ensure IT compliance, audit readiness, and risk mitigation across HO and stores.
• Drive standardization and centralization of IT systems and processes.
2. Enterprise Infrastructure Management
• Oversee organization-wide IT infrastructure including servers, networks, firewalls,
cloud environments, and endpoint management.
• Ensure high availability, performance monitoring, and business continuity planning.
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure for new store rollouts and corporate
functions.
3. ERP / POS & Business Applications
• Act as the corporate owner for Jewellery ERP, POS, and integrated business
applications.
• Drive system implementation, upgrades, automation, and process optimization.
• Ensure real-time data flow between retail stores, warehouse, and HO.
• Define user access controls and system authorization matrix.
4. Information Security & Data Protection
• Implement enterprise-level data security, backup protocols, and disaster recovery
planning.
• Ensure protection against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
• Maintain software license compliance and IT audit controls.
5. Retail Technology Enablement
• Provide centralized IT support model for all retail locations.
• Ensure IT readiness for new store launches (connectivity, hardware, system
configuration).
• Standardize store IT infrastructure and technology deployment.
6. IT Budgeting & Cost Optimization
• Prepare and control the annual IT budget.
• Optimize technology costs through vendor negotiations and AMC management.
• Drive ROI-based technology investments.
7. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
• Manage strategic relationships with ERP, POS, cloud, and infrastructure partners.
• Define SLAs and monitor vendor performance.
• Collaborate with business, finance, HR, and operations for technology enablement.
8. Leadership & Team Management
• Lead and mentor the corporate IT team and regional support structure.
• Define KRAs, performance metrics, and capability development plans.
• Drive a service-oriented and business-partnering IT culture.
9. Digital Transformation & Automation
• Identify opportunities for automation and system integration.
• Implement technology solutions to enhance customer experience, retail
productivity, and reporting efficiency.
• Promote data-driven decision-making through dashboards and MIS.
