IBM i / COBOL/ 400 Developer (Banking Domain)
- Location: Bangalore
- Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
- Experience: 5 - 12 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on IBM i (AS/400) platform
- Write and optimize programs using COBOL/400 and SQL/400
- Support and troubleshoot production issues in critical systems
- Work with database structures and ensure data integrity using DB2
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system improvements and upgrades
- Handle batch processing, job scheduling, and system performance tuning
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in IBM i (AS/400) environment
- Proficiency in COBOL/400 and SQL/400
- Knowledge of DB2 database concepts
- Experience in payment systems including SWIFT (MT & MX), Fedwire, and ACH
- Good understanding of financial transaction processing systems
