The Opportunity
We're a 20-person agency that builds personal brands for founders and coaches through YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Our clients are US-based, our team is fully remote, and we're growing fast.
We need someone to own the entire people function - not just fill roles, but build the system that takes us from 20 people to 50, and eventually 100.
This isn't a support role. You'll sit at the centre of every growth decision - who we hire, how we onboard them, how we keep them, and how we build a team that can scale without breaking.

What You'll Own
Talent Acquisition
- End-to-end hiring for creative and strategic roles - video editors, YouTube strategists, Instagram experts, scriptwriters, thumbnail designers, media buyers, and BDEs.
- Source talent from platforms where creators actually live - Behance, Dribbble, Instagram, freelance communities - not just job portals.
- Screen portfolios, design practical assignments, and evaluate creative quality. You'll need to tell the difference between a good YouTube edit and an average one.
- Build a pre-vetted talent pipeline so we're never scrambling to fill a role last minute.
People Operations
- Design and own the onboarding experience for a fully remote creative team - from offer letter to productive contributor.
- Create SOPs for hiring, onboarding, performance tracking, and team communication. Document what works, kill what doesn't.
- Track team KPIs alongside the founder. Identify where bottlenecks exist and hire proactively - before problems become emergencies.
- Manage HR documentation - offer letters, compliance records, leave tracking, and payroll coordination.
Growth & Culture
- Partner with the founder on team structure decisions as we scale - when to hire, what roles to create, how to organize teams.
- Own employee experience and retention. In a remote creative agency, keeping good people is harder than finding them.
- Help shape company culture intentionally - not by accident. You'll define what working at Visualview feels like as we grow.
Who You Are
- You've worked inside a content, media, or digital marketing agency - not just recruited for one. You understand the culture, the pace, and the type of people who thrive in this environment.
- You've hired creative roles - video editors, designers, strategists, content creators. You can name specific roles you've closed and exactly how you found them.
- You can evaluate creative work - reviewing portfolios, judging editing quality, assessing whether someone's content strategy actually makes sense. This isn't optional.
- You communicate fast and proactively - updates before deadlines, acknowledgments within minutes, and you pre-inform if something is delayed. We're a communication-first company.
- You want to build, not just execute - you're excited by the idea of creating a people function from scratch, not inheriting someone else's playbook.
- 1-5 years of HR experience. What matters more than years is what you've actually built and how you think about growth.
