ROLE SUMMARY
The HR Operations Lead will be responsible for managing and standardizing end-to-end HR processes across all schools within the group. This role ensures seamless HR service delivery, compliance, data accuracy, and employee lifecycle management while partnering with school leadership and corporate teams.
- Drive end-to-end HR operations across all schools from the Head Office, ensuring standardized, efficient, and scalable processes aligned with organizational objectives
- Oversee the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and separations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and defined turnaround timelines across locations
- Establish and implement robust HR operating frameworks, SOPs, and governance mechanisms to ensure uniformity in execution across all units
- Lead payroll operations in coordination with internal teams, ensuring timely and accurate salary processing along with full statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, PT, etc.)
- Strengthen compliance and risk management practices by ensuring adherence to labour laws, maintaining audit readiness, and managing internal and external audits
- Drive HRMS implementation, optimization, and governance, ensuring high data integrity, confidentiality, and real-time reporting capabilities
- Develop and monitor HR dashboards, MIS, and analytics to provide actionable insights to leadership and support data-driven decision-making
- Centralize and streamline HR service delivery by acting as the primary escalation and resolution point for complex HR operational matters across schools
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce manual dependency, and improve service delivery standards
- Partner closely with school leadership, HRBPs, and corporate teams to ensure seamless execution of HR initiatives and alignment with business priorities
- Support organizational expansion including new school launches, transitions, and integration of acquired units from an HR operations standpoint
- Manage vendor relationships for payroll, benefits, compliance, and HR systems, ensuring service quality and cost optimization
- Drive manpower planning coordination, budgeting inputs, and workforce data consolidation at the Head Office level
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement
- Ensure a consistent and positive employee experience by standardizing policies, processes, and communication across all schools
Experience & Qualification:
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in HR Operations, with significant exposure to multi-location workforce management; experience in the education sector will be an advantage
- Strong expertise in payroll management, statutory compliance, HRMS, and HR process excellence
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale HR operations frameworks in a centralized model
- High level of ownership, strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills with a solution-oriented approach
