About the Company

The company specializes in providing staffing and workforce solutions across multiple industries, including Healthcare, IT, Administrative, Engineering, Scientific, Pharmaceuticals, and Warehouse Labor.
We are looking for a Sr. Manager – HR who can lead HR operations, statutory compliance, payroll governance, employee relations, and policy implementation while supporting the company’s continued growth in India. Candidates with prior experience in the staffing industry will be preferred.
About the Role
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in payroll laws, HR laws, labor laws, statutory compliance, employee lifecycle management, and workplace policies. This role requires a strong understanding of compliance-driven HR operations and the ability to work closely with leadership, consultants, auditors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, employee documentation, attendance, leave management, HR records, exits, and full and final settlements.
- Oversee payroll inputs, salary processing coordination, deductions, reimbursements, payroll documentation, and compliance-related records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and statutory requirements, including PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, minimum wages, professional tax, shops and establishment requirements, and other employment regulations.
- Draft, review, and implement HR policies, employee handbooks, SOPs, disciplinary procedures, and internal HR guidelines.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, performance issues, and workplace concerns with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with legal advisors, auditors, consultants, and management for HR compliance, audits, inspections, and regulatory matters.
- Maintain updated knowledge of employment law changes and ensure HR practices remain compliant.
- Support recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Maintain HR MIS reports, compliance trackers, employee files, and audit-ready documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and professional judgment in all employee and company-related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in HR operations, payroll compliance, labor law compliance, and employee relations.
Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll laws, HR policies, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in handling audits, employee documentation, HR records, policy implementation, and workplace compliance.
- Excellent communication, drafting, documentation, and people-management skills.
- Strong command over MS Excel, MS Office, HRMS/ATS platforms, and compliance tracking tools.
- Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and coordinate with senior management.
Preferred Skills
Candidates with experience in US staffing industry will be preferred.
