Senior HR Operation Specialist

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior HR Operations Specialist to join our team in Pune. This role serves as the backbone of the HR function, ensuring seamless execution of our core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, globally. 

This role is responsible for managing HR systems, maintaining data integrity, and delivering consistent and efficient employee experiences across geographies. Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, this role will closely work with the Lead HR Business Partner to enable smooth delivery of HR initiatives, providing critical operational and logistical support across areas such as performance, engagement and culture. 


How You Will Make an Impact:

HR Systems and Data Management: 

  • Own and manage HR systems (Deel and other platforms), ensuring employee records and documentation are in line with internal policies and local compliance requirements 

  • Maintain and update employee data, organisational structures, and reporting lines

  • Draft and issue employment documents including contracts, HR letters, and contractual amendments 

  • Manage the operational aspects of the onboarding and offboarding process including conducting background checks, HR documentations compilation, system set up and exit processes 

  • Track and manage the global visa, right-to-work, compliance documentation, proactively flagging expirations or issues to the Head of HR

Employee Relations: 

  • Act as the first point of contact for all global HR-related queries regarding employment, benefits, and operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution

  • Provide guidance on policies, processes and systems 

  • Coordinate formal meetings for employee relations cases, document notes, and independently prepare the standard ER correspondence

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data with professionalism 

  • Escalate complex matters to relevant stakeholders and the Head of HR where required 

Policy and Compliance:

  • Maintain and update HR policies and the global employee handbook in line with company standards 

  • Ensure compliance through regular audits of employee records and HR processes 

HR Initiatives and Projects: 

  • Partner closely with the Lead HR Business Partner to provide operational and logistical support for initiatives related to performance management, engagement and workshops including tracking completion rates, scheduling sessions etc.

  • Generate reports and create dashboards to support the HR team and business with decision-making 

  • Liaise with Legal, Finance and IT to ensure seamless operational execution across the employee lifecycle

  • Continuously streamline and automate processes and use AI where possible

Skills you will have fine-tuned:

  • Masters degree or a PG Diploma  in Human Resource Management 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR operations, administration or HR shared services 

  • Familiarity with global HR systems and tools (eg. Deel or a similar platform) 

  • High attention to detail and and strong organisational skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across geographies 

  • HR certification such as SHRM would be a plus
