About the role
We're hiring a Senior Director, HR to lead the people function end-to-end as a CHRO equivalent leader. You'll own HR strategy, org design, talent, culture, rewards, compliance, and operations across our India HQ and global footprint partnering directly with the CEO on workforce strategy as the company scales.
What you'll own
- Strategic HR leadership — Translate business strategy into a multi-year people plan. Own the HR operating rhythm: headcount planning, talent reviews, succession, and board-level people reporting.
- Organization design & workforce planning — Partner with function heads on structure, spans and layers, and capacity planning tied to revenue forecasts.
- Talent acquisition — Own full-cycle hiring across sales, delivery, tech, and G&A. Build employer brand and hiring systems that scale.
- Total rewards — Design compensation philosophy, salary bands, incentive plans, ESOP administration, and benefits. Run the annual comp cycle.
- Performance & talent management — Run a performance system that differentiates. Build talent reviews and succession for critical roles.
- Culture & employee experience — Steward culture as the company scales. Own engagement, listening, and DEI.
- HR operations & compliance — Clean HR ops across geographies. Ensure compliance with Indian labor law and international employment regulations. Own HR tech decisions.
- Employee relations — Handle sensitive cases with judgment. Build manager capability to resolve ER day-to-day.
What you'll bring
- 15+ years in HR, with at least 5 years leading the function as Head of HR, VP HR, or CHRO
- Prior experience at high-growth services, SaaS, EdTech, IT services, or professional services companies ideally having scaled an HR function through a period of 2–3x headcount growth
- Track record of having personally built compensation structures, run calibration cycles, designed org structures, and owned HR tech implementations not a pure strategist who delegates execution
- Experience managing HR across multiple geographies, including India statutory compliance and at least one international market
- Postgraduate degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, or Business. MBA from a reputed institution preferred. SHRM-SCP or SPHR a plus
- Board or investor exposure in a prior role comfortable presenting people metrics and workforce strategy to senior stakeholders
- Business fluency can read a P&L and make HR decisions with commercial consequences in mind

- Measurable improvement in time-to-hire and quality-of-hire for critical roles
- Functioning engagement measurement and action loop
- HR operations and compliance running cleanly with no audit exposure
