We’re looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Engineer (6-10 yrs) to work on advanced IoT & RF systems- especially LoRa-based devices, secure telemetry modules, and industrial IoT controllers.
We’re looking for a Senior/Principal Engineer who can independently drive end-to-end hardware + firmware development for advanced IoT/RF products
What You'll Work On
- Complete hardware architecture ownership: requirements → schematics → PCB → bring-up → production
- Mixed-signal PCB design (MCU, RF, power, sensors, high-speed & low-speed interfaces)
- RF front-end design: SAW filters, LNAs, PAs, matching networks, antenna feed design
- Sub-GHz RF layout (403 / 433 / 868 / 915 MHz): impedance control, grounding, isolation
- Power system design:
- Battery-powered systems (Li-ion / Li-SOCl₂ / supercaps)
- DC-DC (buck/boost), low-noise LDOs, power sequencing
- Ultra-low-power optimization and sleep-mode analysis
- Antenna integration:
- PCB, monopole, dipole, external antennas
- S11 / VSWR tuning and real-world enclosure effects
- Sensor & peripheral integration:
- GNSS, IMU, barometric, temperature, humidity, industrial sensors
- Analog front-ends, ADC accuracy, filtering, calibration
- Firmware development on STM32 (WL / H / L / F series), PIC, and Raspberry Pi
- LoRa PHY/MAC, custom packet framing, timing & synchronization
- Design and implement end-to-end encrypted telemetry using AES-128 / AES-256
- Hardware-assisted cryptography using MCU crypto engines (STM32 HW AES, RNG, HASH)
- C / C++, FreeRTOS, low-power firmware architecture
- Bootloaders, OTA / FOTA, firmware versioning & rollback strategies
- RS485 / Modbus, RS232, CAN (if applicable)
- Ethernet (TCP / UDP), MQTT, serial-to-IP gateways
- Relay outputs, digital I/O isolation, surge & ESD protection
- End-to-end product lifecycle ownership:
- Prototype → validation → pilot → mass production
- Board bring-up & debug (power, clock, reset, RF, peripherals)
- DFM / DFA / DFT reviews with CM & PCB vendors
- Test-point planning, bed-of-nails / functional test jig design
- Component lifecycle management, alternates, BOM risk mitigation
- EMI/EMC pre-compliance design & review (layout, filtering, shielding)
- Support certifications (RF, safety, EMC) and field-failure analysis
What You Should Bring
- 6+ years in embedded hardware & firmware product development
- Strong background in mixed-signal electronics, RF design, and power electronics
- Proven experience with multi-layer PCB layout (2–6 layers), controlled impedance
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, VNA, logic analyzer, SWD/JTAG
- Practical knowledge of ESD, surge protection, grounding & shielding techniques
- Strong understanding of symmetric cryptography (AES) and practical embedded implementations
- Experience implementing secure telemetry in constrained, low-power RF systems
- Familiarity with secure bootloaders, encrypted firmware updates, and device provisioning
- Shipped 3+ hardware products into real-world deployment
- Comfortable owning failures, debugging in lab & field conditions
- Experience working with contract manufacturers and test houses
- Strong documentation, schematic annotation & design justification skills
