Job Title: Senior Hardware Developer (Embedded HW-Architecture)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Embedded Hardware Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and validating embedded electronics for industrial drives, servo inverters, or similar products. The role involves end-to-end hardware development including schematic design, PCB layout review, hardware bring-up, verification, and cross-functional collaboration with firmware and manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded hardware systems including analysis, specification, verification, and lifecycle maintenance.
- Create schematics for MCU/SoC interfaces, power management, analog front ends, and protection circuits.
- Support PCB layout activities by defining design rules, SI/PI/EMC guidelines, and conducting layout reviews.
- Perform hardware bring-up and debugging (power sequencing, clocks, interfaces) in collaboration with firmware teams.
- Define and execute verification plans (electrical, functional, environmental) and support EMC/EMI troubleshooting.
- Handle component selection, derating, reliability analysis, and qualification.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing/EMS teams for industrialization, testing strategy, and production ramp-up.
- Prepare detailed documentation for designs, testing, and compliance approvals (CE/UL).
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in embedded hardware design, schematics, and component selection.
- Expertise in power supplies and power management (DC/DC converters, LDOs, sequencing).
- Good understanding of analog and digital circuits and signal handling.
- Hands-on experience with MCU/SoC interfaces (SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, PWM, ADC).
- Proficiency in lab debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, power analyzer).
- Experience with EDA tools such as Altium, Cadence, Mentor Graphics, and PCB layout reviews.
- Good knowledge of EMC/EMI principles and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with structured development processes and documentation.
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to high-speed interfaces (DDR, LVDS).
- Experience in industrial drive electronics and functional safety concepts.
- Basic firmware debugging knowledge (JTAG/SWD).
- Familiarity with automated test setups, scripting (Python), and CI for hardware.
- Knowledge of DFM/DFT and collaboration with manufacturing teams.
