About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Design Engineer to lead the design, development, validation, and debugging of advanced electronic systems for aerospace, defense, robotics, and autonomous platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in high-speed digital and mixed-signal hardware design, board bring-up, system validation, and root-cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex high-speed digital and mixed-signal electronic hardware from concept to production.
- Create hardware architectures, schematics, interface definitions, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with PCB layout teams on high-speed routing, signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.
- Lead board bring-up, hardware validation, and functional testing activities.
- Verify power systems, memory interfaces, communication protocols, processors, and FPGA-based designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and other lab equipment.
- Perform root-cause analysis of hardware failures and implement corrective actions.
- Support prototype builds, manufacturing, testing, and production issue resolution.
- Work closely with firmware, FPGA, RF, mechanical, and systems engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Participate in design reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with aerospace, UAV, defense, automotive, or industrial systems.
- Experience designing boards around:
- Xilinx Zynq
- AMD MPSoC
- Intel/Altera FPGAs
- NVIDIA Jetson platforms
- STM32 or Cortex-R microcontrollers
- Familiarity with RF systems and SDR hardware.
- Understanding of environmental qualification testing.
Experience with safety-critical or mission-critical systems.
