THE ROLE
Most briefs don't say "make this beautiful." They say, "Make this work." The best designers know those are the same instructions. This is a role for someone who has trained their eye the way others train their ear — obsessively, quietly, over years of noticing. You've scrolled past thousands of posts and felt something shift when one of them was actually good. You've redesigned things in your head that nobody asked you to.
At Kreativ Street, you'll be the visual intelligence behind assigned brands. Not the person who makes things pretty after the thinking is done — the person in the room when the thinking starts. You'll work on social-first content across categories, with copywriters and video creators who take the work seriously. The pace is real, the volume is real, and the standard doesn't dip because the deadline is close.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
· Build and hold the visual world of assigned brands — not just following a brand guide, but understanding what a brand feels like and knowing when something is off even before you can articulate why.
· Design for how people actually scroll — not for how content looks in a presentation. Thumb-stopping, format-aware, built for Instagram, LinkedIn, and wherever the brand lives.
· Bring creative direction into the room, not just execution — contribute to how a campaign should look before anyone has decided, not after.
· Work so closely with copywriters that the line between what's written and what's designed starts to blur — because the best social content lives in that blur.
· Carry multiple brand identities simultaneously without letting them flatten into one house style that belongs to nobody.
· Know when a trend is worth jumping on and when it'll date the work in three weeks. That judgment matters more than speed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
· 3–5 years designing in an agency or content-led environment where quality was expected, not just hoped for.
· Adobe Creative Suite fluency — Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. Not "I know my way around it." Actually fast. Actually precise.
· A portfolio that shows you can think, not just execute. Range is good. Distinctiveness is better.
· Typography instincts that go beyond picking fonts — you understand how type carries personality, controls pace, and either earns trust or quietly destroys it.
· An understanding of social formats from the inside — not because you've read about them, but because you've spent enough time on these platforms to feel when something lands and when it doesn't.
· Curiosity about AI tools in design — moodboarding, asset generation, exploration. Not performative familiarity. Actual use.
YOU'RE PROBABLY RIGHT FOR THIS IF
· You've redesigned something in your head that nobody asked you to — a billboard, a brand's Instagram, a packaging label — just because it was bothering you.
· You can tell the difference between a design that's beautiful and a design that's right, and you know the second one is harder.
· You give feedback on your own work before anyone else does, and you're usually correct.
· You find it genuinely difficult to submit something you're not proud of, even on a tight deadline.
· When a brief is vague, you don't wait. You bring three directions and let the work do the asking.
THIS PROBABLY ISN'T FOR YOU IF
· Your work looks great in isolation but never quite sounds like the brand it was made for.
· You need the brief to be interesting before you give it your full attention.
· You think "good enough" is a real answer when the clock is running.
· Collaboration feels like someone else touching your work.
· Your portfolio is a gallery of aesthetics with no evidence of thinking behind them.
