Job Overview
Ravan.ai is looking for a skilled Golang Developer (2–4 years experience) to join our engineering team and help build and scale production-grade distributed systems powering our real-time AI voice agents and sales automation platform.
You will work on high-performance microservices that handle real-time conversations, agent orchestration, and multi-channel automation used by thousands of businesses. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy writing clean, reliable Go code, solving production challenges, and contributing to systems that run at meaningful scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Go (Golang)
- Build and optimize APIs and services using Gin and gRPC
- Implement background and asynchronous processing (e.g., with Asynq or similar)
- Work with PostgreSQL using GORM (or equivalent)
- Debug, analyze, and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and reliability problems
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and distributed systems design
- Collaborate with the broader engineering team to improve code quality, reliability, and scalability
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following best practices
Required Skills and Experience
- 2–4 years of professional experience with Go (Golang)
- Hands-on experience building APIs and services with Gin and/or gRPC
- Working knowledge of GORM and PostgreSQL
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience deploying and supporting systems in production environments
- Good grasp of system reliability, common failure modes, and performance considerations
- Backend-focused engineer with basic infrastructure awareness (Docker, CI/CD, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Resty or similar HTTP clients
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Basic understanding of observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and performance tuning
- Any experience integrating or supporting AI/ML systems in production is a plus
- Knowledge of distributed systems concepts (consistency, CAP theorem, etc.)

- Work Mode: On-site (New Delhi office) – candidates from anywhere in India are welcome to apply and must be willing to relocate to New Delhi to work from the office every day
