About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Fund Accountant for a leading global accounting, tax, and advisory firm with 4,000+ employees worldwide. The role sits within the firm's Real Estate Private Equity fund administration practice — the second-largest real estate private fund administrator globally — and supports US-based funds and investors from the India delivery centre.
Location: Bangalore or Mumbai (Hybrid – 3 days office)
Shift: 12:30 PM – 9:30 PM IST
Experience: 3+ years post-qualification (CA / CMA / CFA) or 6+ years (graduates / MBA Finance)
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on preparation of NAV calculations across PE fund structures
- Preparation of waterfall models — preferred return, catch-up, and carry allocation
- Calculation of management fees, incentive fees, and carry on a deal-by-deal basis
- Preparation of financial statements, capital call notices, distribution schedules, and investor reports
- Coordination with onshore teams on deliverable timelines and queries
- Maintain quality and accuracy of all deliverables in line with firm standards
Mandatory Skills
- Hands-on Private Equity Fund Accounting experience (Real Estate PE, Buyout, VC, Infrastructure, or Private Credit)
- NAV Calculation
- Waterfall Model preparation
- Financial Reporting — financial statements, capital calls, distributions
- Strong MS Excel proficiency
Qualifications
- CA / CMA / CFA / MBA (Finance) preferred — 3+ years post-qualification
- Graduates: 6+ years of relevant Fund Accounting experience
