Senior Mortgage Underwriter - US Residential
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mortgage Underwriter to join our team in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and underwriting residential mortgage applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities
- Review and underwrite residential mortgage applications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct credit risk assessment, income and asset analysis, and DTI/LTV calculation to determine loan eligibility.
- Ensure compliance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and USDA regulations.
- Review appraisals and clear conditions to ensure accurate loan valuation.
- Maintain proficiency in LOS/AUS systems to efficiently process loan applications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and optimal loan processing.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in residential mortgage underwriting, preferably in the US market.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, income and asset analysis, and DTI/LTV calculation.
- Proficiency in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and USDA compliance.
- Experience with appraisal review and condition clearance.
- LOS/AUS proficiency and ability to work efficiently in these systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
