What You'll Do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and responsive web applications.
- Build intuitive front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Develop robust back-end systems, REST APIs, and server-side applications.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRM platforms, and external services.
- Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases.
- Optimize applications for performance, security, scalability, and SEO.
- Convert Figma or Adobe XD designs into responsive web experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Review code, maintain development standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure application reliability.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
- Manage deployments, hosting, domains, SSL certificates, and cloud infrastructure.
- Work with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Estimate project timelines and provide regular development updates.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with React.js, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong back-end experience with Node.js, Express.js, PHP, Laravel, Python, Django, or similar frameworks
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs
- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other database technologies
- Responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility
- Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Vercel, or DigitalOcean
- Website security, performance optimization, and best practices
- Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and server management
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
Preferred Skills
- WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce, or other CMS platforms
- Headless CMS experience
- GraphQL and microservices architecture
- Redis, WebSockets, and real-time applications
- Technical SEO and Core Web Vitals
- Automated testing frameworks
- UI/UX principles and accessibility standards
- Experience working in a digital agency or managing multiple client projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 4-5 years of professional full stack development experience
- Proven experience delivering production-ready web applications
- Strong portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing completed projects
- Previous experience leading projects or mentoring developers is an added advantage
