The Role
We are looking for a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer who doesn’t just write code but owns the entire lifecycle of a feature. This is a role for a self-starter who thrives in a high-trust environment and is comfortable making architectural decisions that impact the product’s success. You will be a key driver in our engineering team, ensuring that our Python and React-based systems are scalable, resilient, and thoroughly tested.
What You’ll Do
- Build & Own: Lead the development of complex features across the full stack, from responsive UI components in React to robust backend services in Python.
- Architect for Scale: Design and deploy cloud-native solutions using the AWS stack, ensuring performance and security are baked in from day one.
- Champion Quality: Drive a culture of technical excellence by practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and maintaining high test coverage.
- Work Autonomously: Navigate ambiguity with ease, taking a seed of an idea and turning it into a production-ready reality without needing constant oversight.
- High Accountability: Take full responsibility for the stability and performance of the systems you build, acting as a steward for the codebase.
What You Bring
- The Stack: Deep proficiency in Python, modern React frameworks, and the AWS ecosystem.
- The Mindset: A "high ownership" philosophy. You believe that your job isn't done until the code is delivering value to the user.
- The Discipline: Strong experience in a TDD environment; you view testing as a fundamental part of the development process rather than an afterthought.
- The Experience: You’ve spent years building and maintaining production-grade applications and have a track record of delivering results independently.
