About the Role
Techylla is seeking a Senior SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform Developer with at least six years of relevant experience to independently own the technical delivery and support of secure enterprise collaboration and business process solutions. This role spans solution architecture, hands-on development, platform administration, workflow optimization, production support, governance, and direct engagement with client and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and translate requirements into scalable SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.
- Design and develop modern SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, forms, permissions, and collaboration solutions.
- Build and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, integrations, and Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Create prototypes, proofs of concept, reusable components, APIs, connectors, and scripts using suitable full-stack technologies.
- Own solution design and technical decisions, and establish development standards for secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
- Manage application lifecycle activities, including source control, testing, change control, deployment, rollback, and release support.
- Coordinate incident triage, escalation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization using enterprise IT service-management platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira Service Management.
- Work with information security, risk, compliance, and platform teams to implement data classification, access controls, audit, and governance requirements.
- Maintain code quality, configuration records, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer documentation.
- Provide regular status updates and communicate risks, dependencies, and recommendations to the client manager and application stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least six years of relevant software development experience, including demonstrated hands-on experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint Framework, Microsoft 365 services, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Full-stack development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and JSON.
- Working knowledge of application lifecycle management, solution packaging, source control, testing, deployment, monitoring, production support, and enterprise service-management practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on Python development experience, particularly for automation, data processing, API integration, or operational scripting, is highly desirable.
Communication and Stakeholder Management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. The developer must be comfortable working directly with client and collaborating with business users, product owners, security teams, support teams, and other application stakeholders across locations and time zones.
The role requires clear status reporting, effective meeting participation, proactive risk communication, and the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
