SchoolCues is a fast-growing U.S.-based K-12 Enterprise SaaS EdTech company headquartered in Phoenix, AZ. We’re scaling quickly and are looking to hire an experienced .NET Technology Team Leader ASAP to lead our engineering team in Chennai.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can own and drive delivery, mentor engineers, and own technical execution for a complex SaaS platform.
🔑 Job requirements
- Lead and manage a 15+ member development and QA team
- Stay hands-on with architecture, code reviews, and problem-solving
- Drive delivery across web and mobile applications
- Leverage AI into the existing platform to drive efficiency
- Enforce coding standards, quality, and Agile best practices
- Collaborate closely with U.S.-based product and leadership teams
🧠 Must-Have Experience
- 8-10+ years leading software development teams
- Strong full-stack .NET experience (ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, MVC)
- AWS Experience
- REST APIs, Web APIs, Entity Framework
- SQL Server (queries, stored procedures)
- JavaScript, HTML/CSS, jQuery
- CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Octopus), JIRA
- Strong understanding of OOPS and design patterns
- Experience with Agile development
- Exposure to AI tools is a plus
NON-NEGOTIABLES
- VERY strong written and spoken English to communicate with leadership
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve with minimal guidance.
- Proven leadership and team-mentoring skills
- Must be currently located in Chennai and willing to commute to the office in a hybrid mode.
- Minimum 2 years in current role
