Role Description
This is a contract role for a Senior Full Stack Engineer for 2 months. The engineer will be responsible for extensive code review along with maintaining scalable front-end and back-end components of our proprietary trading and risk management platform. Key tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring optimal responsiveness of applications, and implementing secure and efficient code. The Senior Full Stack Engineer will also contribute to troubleshooting, debugging, and optimising performance across all layers of the technology stack.
Qualifications
- Highly proficiency in SpringBoot Back-End Web Development
- Experience in all phases of Software Development, including design, testing, and deployment
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Familiarity with Fintech platforms, AI-driven analytics, or risk management systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with cloud-based architecture and APIs is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Some defined responsibility
1. Extensive code review and making code robust and scalable. We need to reduce our latency of our architecture
2. Optimisations over our trading terminal. Example, we need to optimise our search and loading which is currently lagging with 10000 instruments
3. Integration testing of whole backend
Some of features to implement:
1. Market depth and option chain
2. 3rd party KYC integration
3. Observability metrics and compression features on data
4. Notification section so user receive real time risk updates and about their positions
5. Scalper feature for one click trading (all API routes are available)
6. Affiliate marketing section refinements
