Role Overview
MobexHealth is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong experience in both front-end and back-end development to build and scale our web and mobile healthcare platforms. This role will design, develop, and maintain applications used across mobile apps, tablets, kiosks, and web portals supporting health plans, care teams, and community organizations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience building production web and mobile applications, capable of working across the full technology stack while contributing to platform architecture and system scalability.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 7 years of experience in full stack software development
• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience building backend services using Node.js, Python, Java, or similar technologies
• Experience developing mobile applications using frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin
• Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proficiency with Git-based version control systems
• Strong understanding of application security and data protection practices
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building healthcare or digital health applications
• Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant system development
• Experience with mobile device deployments such as tablets or kiosks
• Experience designing data-driven applications and analytics pipelines
• Experience with containerization and infrastructure tools such as Docker
• Experience working in fast-paced startup or growth-stage technology environments
Core Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
• Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end components of MobexHealth applications
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces for mobile, tablet, and web platforms
• Develop secure APIs and backend services supporting platform functionality
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices
• Optimize application performance and system reliability
Web & Mobile Application Development
• Develop and maintain web applications and dashboards used by health plans and care teams
• Build and enhance mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
• Support tablet-based deployments used in healthcare and community environments
• Implement secure authentication, user management, and data protection features
• Ensure applications perform reliably across multiple devices and environments
Backend Architecture & Data Management
• Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices supporting platform functionality
• Implement and maintain database schemas and backend data structures
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability
• Ensure application data supports analytics, reporting, and insights initiatives
Platform Integrations
• Design and implement API integrations with third-party systems
• Support integrations with systems such as
• Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
• Telehealth platforms
• Eligibility and claims systems
• Analytics and reporting platforms
• Ensure secure and reliable data exchange between systems
Technical Collaboration
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineering leadership
• Translate business and platform requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in architecture planning, sprint planning, and technical reviews
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and engineering team members
Quality, Testing, and Reliability
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues
• Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Ensure systems meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements
