🎯 Role Overview
We are looking for an exceptionally strong Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in Next.js, who doesn’t just build UIs—but engineers frontend systems.
This role requires someone who understands:
- Rendering deeply (SSR, CSR, SSG, ISR)
- Performance optimization at scale
- Frontend architecture & state design
- How frontend interacts with backend systems
This is a high-bar role — we are looking for someone who can justify every decision they make in code and architecture.
🧠 What You’ll Own
- Architect and build high-performance, scalable frontend systems
- Decide how and where rendering should happen (SSR vs CSR vs SSG vs ISR)
- Design data fetching strategies and state management architecture
- Optimize applications for:
- Speed
- SEO
- Core Web Vitals
- Work closely with backend to define API contracts and data flow
- Ensure frontend security, scalability, and maintainability
⚙️ Core Responsibilities🧱 Frontend Engineering (Not Just Development)
- Build production-grade apps using Next.js and React
- Design component architecture, reusable systems, and UI patterns
- Engineer clean, scalable, and maintainable codebases
⚡ Rendering & Performance (Critical Requirement)
- Deep understanding of:
- Server-Side Rendering (SSR)
- Static Site Generation (SSG)
- Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR)
- Client-Side Rendering (CSR)
- Ability to:
- Choose the right rendering strategy per use-case
- Optimize hydration, bundling, and load times
- Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, FID)
🎨 UI/UX & Motion Systems
- Strong passion for UI/UX and animations
- Experience with smooth, high-performance animations (e.g., Framer Motion or similar)
- Ability to create visually rich, responsive, and intuitive interfaces
🧠 State, Data & Architecture
- Design and manage state effectively (global vs local, server vs client)
- Strong understanding of:
- Data fetching strategies
- Caching mechanisms
- API integration patterns
- Ability to answer:
- When to fetch? Where to fetch? Why to fetch?
🌐 Backend & Full-Stack Understanding
- Strong backend fundamentals (must)
- Experience with:
- Node.js or Java-based backends
- Understanding of:
- API design
- Authentication & authorization
- Request lifecycle
- Ability to debug end-to-end flow (frontend → backend → DB)
🗄️ Database Awareness
- Working knowledge of:
- SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- NoSQL databases (MongoDB, etc.)
- Understanding of:
- Data modeling
- Query optimization basics
- Data flow impact on frontend performance
🔐 Frontend Security & Network Layer
- Knowledge of:
- XSS, CSRF, CORS
- Secure token handling
- API security best practices
- Understanding of:
- Browser rendering lifecycle
- Network calls, caching, and latency optimization
🧩 Required Skills
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- Next.js
- React
- Strong grasp of JavaScript fundamentals (closures, async, event loop)
- Deep understanding of rendering internals and performance optimization
- Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
- Ability to write clean, scalable, production-grade code

- Experience with:
- TypeScript
- Webpack/Vite internals
- Exposure to:
