About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who can independently own and build high-quality product experiences across Android, iOS, and Web platforms.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in React and modern frontend development, along with hands-on experience in native mobile development using Kotlin/Swift. This role is suited for someone who can work across platforms, make sound architectural decisions, collaborate closely with product and design teams, and deliver polished, scalable, production-grade applications.
At Neo Wealth and Asset Management, you will work on technology products that enable bankers, wealth managers, and clients to interact with portfolios, investments, insights, onboarding journeys, dashboards, and financial workflows in a seamless and secure manner.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for:
● Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality frontend applications across web, Android/iOS.
● Building scalable and responsive user interfaces using React, with strong attention to performance, usability, and maintainability.
● Contributing independently across native mobile stacks
● Owning critical frontend modules for wealth management products such as client onboarding, portfolio review workflows, banker dashboards, client-facing investment journeys, reporting interfaces, and internal productivity tools.
● Building resilient and scalable applications with the right architecture, clean code practices, and production-level quality.
● Collaborating with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, Data teams, and Business stakeholders to define requirements, refine user journeys, and deliver cohesive product experiences.
● Working closely with design teams to rapidly prototype new product ideas and convert them into polished production features.
● Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks related to latency, rendering, memory usage, UI responsiveness, and application stability.
● Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across different devices, screen sizes, browsers, and operating systems.
● Integrating frontend applications with backend systems using REST APIs and GraphQL, while understanding trade-offs around performance, caching, pagination, error handling, and platform-specific constraints.
● Working with offline storage, asynchronous programming, background sync, and push notifications where relevant.
● Participating in the complete development lifecycle, including planning, architecture, implementation, testing, release, monitoring, and post-release improvements.
● Writing unit tests, UI tests, and integration tests to ensure product reliability.
● Conducting code reviews, maintaining code quality, and ensuring adherence to engineering standards.
● Proactively identifying quality issues, production risks, edge cases, and user experience gaps.
● Contributing to root cause analysis for production issues and helping improve engineering processes.
● Providing technical guidance and support to other frontend and mobile developers.
Required Skills and Experience:
● 5-7 years of frontend/mobile development experience, with strong hands-on ownership of production-grade applications.
● Strong experience with React and modern frontend development practices.
● Hands-on experience building Android or iOS applications or both
● Strong understanding of mobile and web application architecture, design patterns, state management, and component-driven development.
● Experience building applications that are scalable, maintainable, and performant.
● Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, including rendering efficiency, network optimization, memory usage, and responsiveness.
● Experience working with REST APIs and/or GraphQL.
● Experience with asynchronous programming, offline storage, caching, and handling unreliable network conditions.
● Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
● Experience with testing frameworks for web and mobile applications.
● Strong understanding of UX principles and ability to collaborate deeply with design teams.
● Experience shipping one or more production mobile applications on the Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store.
● Ability to independently own features from problem definition to production release.
● Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good to Have
● Experience building products in fintech, wealth management, investment platforms, banking, or other regulated domains.
● Experience working on dashboards, workflow-heavy tools, portfolio systems, reporting products, or client-facing financial applications.
● Understanding of security, privacy, and compliance considerations in financial products.
● Experience with analytics instrumentation, experimentation, and product funnel tracking.
