Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with strong experience in ServiceNow Service Portal development to design, develop, and maintain intuitive, high-performance user interfaces. The ideal candidate should have expertise in front-end technologies and hands-on experience customizing ServiceNow portals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, responsive, and user-friendly ServiceNow Portal solutions while ensuring adherence to development best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize ServiceNow Service Portal using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AngularJS.
- Design and build responsive, user-centric UI components aligned with UX/UI designs and business requirements.
- Customize ServiceNow widgets, themes, pages, and portal layouts.
- Integrate the ServiceNow Portal with backend services, REST APIs, workflows, and platform components.
- Optimize portal performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve UI-related issues to ensure high-quality, bug-free deliverables.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, UI/UX designers, developers, and architects to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on front-end development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development methodologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to portal development and customizations.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow platform capabilities and front-end technologies.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Front-End Development.
- Hands-on experience in ServiceNow Service Portal development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and AngularJS.
- Experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow Widgets, Pages, Themes, and Portals.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow Portal with REST APIs, workflows, and backend services.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and UI troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ServiceNow UI Builder or Employee Center.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform development and scripting.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles and accessibility standards.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- ServiceNow CSA or CAD certification is an added advantage.
