Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced and creative Senior Footwear Designer to lead the design and development of innovative footwear collections. The role requires a strong blend of design thinking, technical expertise, and market understanding, with the ability to translate concepts into commercially viable products.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end footwear design from concept to commercialization
- Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, and design direction aligned with brand strategy
- Create detailed designs, sketches, and CADs using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
- Drive innovation in materials, construction, comfort, and aesthetics
- Collaborate closely with product development, sourcing, and factories for execution
- Prepare tech packs, specs for handover
- Oversee prototype development & fit trials, ensuring product quality
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and consumer insights
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to building a strong design team
- Ensure timely delivery of collections aligned with business timelines
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in footwear design (sports / athleisure preferred)
- Strong expertise in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Illustrator (mandatory)
- Deep understanding of footwear construction, materials, and mould development
- Strong knowledge of trends, color, and consumer behavior
- Experience working with factories/vendors (domestic or international)
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to international markets or global brands
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Footwear / Fashion /Leather / Industrial Design from NIFT preferred
