Job Title: Financial Controller (Chartered Accountant)

Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Controller to oversee the company’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in e-commerce, retail, and manufacturing finance operations.
The role requires strong expertise in accounting, taxation, FP&A, budgeting, audits, working capital management, and business finance partnering.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily accounting and finance operations
Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation, and audit requirements
Handle GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings
Coordinate with internal and external auditors
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management
Drive Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities
Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Analyze financial data and provide strategic business insights
Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls
Handle inventory accounting, costing, and margin analysis
Support management in financial strategy and decision-making
Manage e-commerce reconciliations, retail finance operations, and manufacturing finance processes
Ensure timely closure of books and monthly financial reporting
Work closely with cross-functional teams for business planning and operational efficiency
Key Requirements
Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
3–4 years of post-qualification experience
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, compliance, and audits
Experience in e-commerce, retail, and manufacturing industry preferred
Strong understanding of FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting
Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, ERP systems, etc.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred Skills
Experience with multi-store retail finance operations
Knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting
Understanding of business finance and profitability analysis
ERP implementation and process automation exposure
Strong business partnering and financial strategy capabilities
Team handling and leadership skills
