Role Description The Senior Financial Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for leading the finance and accounting function. This role oversees the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring cash flow, and supporting strategic decision-making with data-driven financial insights. The Senior Financial Controller will establish and maintain robust internal controls, supervise accounting operations, coordinate audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and performance management. The role also involves mentoring finance team members and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and financial governance.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, including corporate finance principles and financial management.
- Hands-on experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including consolidation and compliance with relevant standards.
- Advanced Accounting skills, covering general ledger, reconciliations, and statutory accounting practices.
- Proven Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and support strategic decisions.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS is a must
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management in a mid- to large-scale organization.
- Knowledge of ERP and financial systems, and proficiency with spreadsheet and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing finance or accounting teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Relevant professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or MBA in Finance.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented business environment is an advantage.
