Senior Financial Analyst – AI
Hifive AI is partnering with a high-growth, YC-backed global fintech platform transforming how institutional investors conduct financial research and due diligence.
Our client works closely with leading Private Equity funds, Investment Banks, and Strategy Consulting firms, enabling faster, insight-driven decision-making across live deals.
This is a high-impact role for professionals looking to operate at the intersection of core finance and next-generation research workflows, with direct exposure to global transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Due Diligence Execution
- Support live transactions through commercial due diligence, industry research, company analysis, and investment memo preparation (IMs, IC notes, pitch decks)
- Financial Analysis & Valuation
- Perform financial modelling, valuation analysis (DCF, trading comps, precedent transactions), and benchmarking across sectors
- Deal & Stakeholder Interaction
- Collaborate with PE/VC investors, IB deal teams, and consulting stakeholders on ongoing mandates
- Research & Insight Generation
- Conduct market mapping, competitive analysis, value chain assessment, and growth thesis validation
- Process & Knowledge Development
- Build scalable research frameworks, sector playbooks, and reusable deal templates
- Technology-Enabled Research
- Leverage advanced tools and automation to improve speed, accuracy, and depth of analysis, while applying strong financial judgment
Candidate Profile
- Experience:
- 2–5 years in:
- Investment Banking / Private Equity / Venture Capital
- Big 4 Transaction Advisory / Deals practice
- Equity Research / Financial KPO supporting global clients
- Core Skillset:
- Strong grounding in financial modelling and valuation (DCF, comps, precedent transactions)
- Experience in due diligence reports, investment memos, pitch decks
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Cap IQ, FactSet, Pitchbook, or similar databases
- Mindset:
- Ability to think like an investor, not just an executor
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in high-stakes environments
- Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA from a Tier 1 institution / CFA (Level 1 or above)
- Exposure to live deal environments and tight turnaround timelines
- Comfort working in fast-paced, unstructured, high-ownership setups
