Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, maintain, and optimize full financial models (integrated IS/BS/CF) across areas such as corporate finance, private equity/LBO, investment banking, valuation, and cost of capital (WACC), risk, and quantitative finance modeling.
- Build and validate advanced modeling components, including revenue builds, detailed growth drivers, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and capital structure and cost of capital.
- Review, stress-test, and improve complex financial models and exercises created by internal teams and other experts.
- Design and solve real-world financial problem sets for the platform, ensuring technical depth, accuracy, internal consistency, and clear pedagogical value for users.
- Collaborate with other finance experts and developers to ensure model integrity, documentation, and scalability.
- Provide ongoing operational support on financial content, including QA, debugging, and continuous refinement of models.
Candidate Requirements :
- 4–8+ years of hands-on experience in roles such as: investment banking, private equity/venture capital, risk, debt capital markets, corporate finance, highly technical FP&A/strategic finance, transaction services/valuation/financial advisory, asset based securities, asset based lending, quantitative research / analysis, and more.
- Proven track record building complete, integrated financial models from scratch, including full three-statement models, WACC and valuation work (DCF, comparable analysis), and complex drivers and scenario analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and dynamic modeling, multi-tab, linked models.
- Strong discipline around structure, checks, and documentation.
- Deep understanding of corporate finance, valuation, accounting principles, and how they flow through IS/BS/CF.
- High attention to detail and a very high-quality bar for your own work.
- Ability to work independently, own projects end-to-end, and manage your time effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Nice to Have
- Experience designing or reviewing technical case studies or modeling tests (for hiring, training, or education).
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Certifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar.
- Experience mentoring or leading other analysts or associates.
- Familiarity with programming, automation, or data tools that interact with financial models.
Excluded Profiles
- Pure bookkeeping / small-business accounting profiles.
- Candidates who have only worked with pre-built templates and have not owned full model construction.
