Aeternix is seeking a Senior Finance Advisor with deep expertise at the intersection of hospitals, healthcare financing, and insurance. This is a strategic advisory position intended for an experienced industry leader who understands the financial architecture of healthcare delivery and can help shape the financial foundation of a next-generation healthcare company.
Key Responsibilities
1) Advise the founding team on healthcare financing models, hospital economics, and insurance integration.
2) Provide strategic guidance on reimbursement frameworks, payer-provider relationships, and revenue cycle optimization.
3) Support the design of financially sustainable healthcare delivery models.
4) Guide partnerships involving hospitals, TPAs, insurers, and other healthcare stakeholders.
5) Review financial assumptions, business models, and growth strategies from an industry perspective.
6) Mentor the leadership team on financial decision-making relevant to the healthcare ecosystem
7) Participate in periodic strategic discussions with the founders and leadership team.
Preferred Background
1) 10+ years of experience in senior finance, strategy, or leadership roles within hospitals, health insurance companies, TPAs, or healthcare consulting.
2) Strong understanding of hospital operations, healthcare economics, claims management, reimbursement systems, and payer-provider dynamics.
3) Experience working across both hospital and insurance ecosystems is strongly preferred.
4) Demonstrated ability to advise founders, executive teams, or boards on strategic financial matters.
Compensation
This is currently a strictly equity-based advisory position. Cash compensation is not available during the incubation stage.
Upon successful completion of incubation and as Aeternix transitions into its operational growth phase, the advisory engagement may be converted into a compensated role with an appropriate remuneration structure, subject to mutual agreement.
