Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Senior Financial Accountant, based in Dehradun. The role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing financial reporting, overseeing the use of accounting software for accuracy, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial standards. The Senior Financial Accountant will also contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, while providing insights to support decision-making.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Financial Statements, including preparation, reconciliation, and analysis
- Strong Analytical Skills to identify trends, variances, and actionable financial insights
- Knowledge of Finance principles and their application in financial planning and operations
- Experience with Accounting Software to ensure precise data management and reporting
- Expertise in Financial Reporting, adhering to relevant standards and meeting regulatory requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Prior experience in the retail sector is advantageous
- Proficiency in communication and teamwork to coordinate across departments
