ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to lead and manage the finance and accounting operations of our steel and aluminium manufacturing group. The candidate must have strong hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting along with practical exposure to tender-based projects, construction accounting, work orders, billing cycles, and project-wise financial management.
This is a high-ownership role requiring expertise in statutory compliance, multi-company accounting, project costing, and coordination with CA and CS teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Accounting across all group companies including ledger maintenance and monthly closings
• GST return filing (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C), reconciliation, and Input Tax Credit (ITC) management
• TDS / TCS return filing (24Q, 26Q), compliance tracking, and certificate issuance
• Day-to-day bookkeeping, purchase & sales entry verification, and expense booking
• Vendor and customer reconciliation; debtors and creditors management
• Monthly bank reconciliation statements across all company accounts
• Preparation of MIS reports including P&L, cash flow, project costing, and management dashboards
• Project-wise accounting and profitability tracking for steel, aluminium, and construction-related projects
• Maintaining records for tenders, BOQs, contracts, work orders, billing schedules, and rate analysis sheets
• Handling accounting and documentation related to tender-based and construction projects
• Experience in contractor billing, project accounting, site expense tracking, and work-order management
• Payroll accounting support including PF, ESIC, salary processing, and statutory deductions
• Invoice checking, documentation, filing, and cost sheet preparation
• Assistance in statutory audit, income-tax assessments, and financial reporting
• Coordination with CA / CS teams for ROC filings, compliance, and board-level reporting
• Cash flow monitoring, payment follow-ups, and fund-utilisation tracking
• Ensuring timely monthly account closings and coordination with internal teams for accounts data
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Must-Have
• B.Com / M.Com degree
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Accounts & Finance
• Strong experience in Manufacturing and Construction / Tender-based accounting
• Practical knowledge of tenders, BOQs, work orders, contractor billing, and project accounting
• GST return filing (GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C)
• TDS / TCS filing (24Q, 26Q)
• Tally Prime proficiency
• Bank reconciliation and MIS reporting
• Multi-company group accounting exposure
• Audit coordination experience
• Compliance-heavy environment with regular interaction with CA and CS professionals
• High exposure to manufacturing, tendering, and project-based financial operations

⏰ Timing: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM
💰 Salary: ₹50,000 per month (based on experience)
