As Senior Finance Manager, India, you will oversee and manage all accounting matters, whilst ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. You will be the finance team leader and a key person in India wide projects as well as instrumental in helping to facilitate a streamlined accounting close cycle.
What will you do ?
- Oversee the monthly US GAAP financial close processes, Month-end accounting close responsibilities, review of flux analysis and accounts reconciliation.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes and the development of the team to achieve best practices and optimal output.
- Join monthly leadership meeting as the Finance leader, serve as a key contact for cross function communication and cooperation.
- Oversee the external audit, review and analyze results, and recommend for approval the audited financial statements.
- Develop and oversee the internal control process to ensure that finance and operations controls and policies are complied with SOX and local regulation requirements. Ensure effective follow-up processes are in place.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support, and set professional development plans to assist employees in reaching their full potential through the performance management process.
- Ensure financial management reporting tools and processes are in place to support the ongoing and future needs of the business.
- Providing and interpreting financial information, Support the annual budgeting process.
- Provide ongoing financial modeling and analysis expertise to business partners in required.
- Ensure optimal deployment of resources to achieve business goals.
- Perform other related duties as required, like local signer for banks, acquisition support, etc.

What are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role with proven finance team leadership skills. A dynamic finance professional with excellent communication and presentation skills to be able to build strong trust-based relationships.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and/or SOX are highly valued.
- Manufacturing sector background highly valued.
- Good English skills both written & verbal
- Familiar with ERP Systems and office applications.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and communication and interpersonal skills.
