Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Finance Executive (Chartered Accountant) role is based in Bengaluru. The Senior Finance Executive will oversee end-to-end finance and accounting activities, including the preparation and review of financial statements, maintenance of general ledgers, and timely closure of monthly and annual accounts. The role involves managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and tax regulations (including GST), and coordinating with auditors and regulatory authorities. The individual will analyze financial data to provide insights, support budgeting and forecasting, monitor cash flow, and recommend measures to optimize profitability and control costs. The Senior Finance Executive will also collaborate with internal stakeholders and startup clients, implement best practices, and contribute to strengthening financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, and taxation.
- Experience in audit is mandatory
- Experience working with startups or high-growth businesses is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Statements expertise, including preparation, review, and interpretation of accounts.
- Candidates should possess solid Financial Reporting skills, covering statutory reporting, management reporting, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision making.
- Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST), including filings, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, corporate tax laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in accounting and ERP software, advanced MS Excel skills, and comfort with digital finance tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with teams and clients in Bengaluru.
